Terms of service

Effective October 12, 2026.

The short version: you see a free sample first. If you hire us, you pay half the build to start and half at launch, you get two rounds of changes, you own your domain and your site, and the monthly care plan cancels any time with 30 days' notice.

1. Who we are

Treasure Valley Sites is a web design business in Meridian, Idaho, run by Brandon. Treasure Valley Sites is an assumed business name of Almanac LLC, an Idaho limited liability company. "We" means Treasure Valley Sites; "you" means the business that hires us.

We use software, including AI tools, to help draft and build. A person reviews everything before it reaches you, and you always deal with Brandon.

2. The free sample

A sample costs nothing and commits you to nothing. It is built from facts your business already publishes and from licensed stock photos, never your logo, photos or reviews without your permission. It is private, hidden from search engines, marked as a sample, and taken down within one day if you ask.

3. What you're buying

Your quote names a package and what it includes:

Anything not in your quote is extra, and we tell you the price before doing it.

4. Paying

5. Changes and revisions

Two rounds of changes are included before launch. A round is one list of changes sent together. Each extra round is $50. New pages or features beyond your package are quoted first.

If we're waiting on your photos, wording or answers for more than 60 days, we may close the project. You can restart it later from where it stopped.

6. Refunds

If you change your mind before we start on your real site, we refund your deposit in full. Once work has started, the deposit pays for the work done and isn't refunded, and you owe nothing more unless you approve the site for launch. Care plan payments aren't refunded for part of a month.

8. The care plan

For the monthly fee we keep your site online (hosting), renew your domain every year, keep the security certificate (the padlock) current, keep backups, watch that the site stays up, and make small edits within 2 business days.

A small edit is a change to text, photos, hours, prices or a link that takes us under 30 minutes. Up to three a month are included; anything bigger, or more than that, is quoted first and only done with your OK.

Not included: email inboxes on your domain (we can set up free forwarding to the inbox you use now), ad management, writing new pages, and the fees of other services you use, such as booking or ordering software.

We answer email within one business day, Monday to Friday.

9. Cancelling

The care plan is month to month. Cancel any time by email with 30 days' notice; there is no fee to leave. When it ends, we give you your site's files and your domain's transfer code, and you can host the site anywhere. If we ever stop offering the care plan, we give you the same 30 days' notice and the same handover.

10. Late payments

If a care plan payment fails, we let you know and try again. If it's still unpaid after 14 days, we pause edits. After 30 days, we may take the site offline until the account is paid. Your domain stays yours either way.

11. Your content and photos

You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, everything you send us: photos, logos, text and reviews. You're responsible for what your business says on its site, such as prices, licences and claims about your work. We may turn down content that is illegal or breaks someone else's rights. Stock photos we add are licensed for your use.

12. Hosting limits

Hosting covers the normal traffic of a local business website. It doesn't cover large video or file hosting, or anything illegal. If your site is attacked or used to harm others, we may pause it to protect it and other sites, and we tell you right away.

13. What we don't promise

We build sites that load fast, work on phones and follow good search and accessibility practice (WCAG 2.2 AA). We can't promise Google rankings, a number of calls, that a site meets every legal accessibility claim, or that hosting never has an outage, because those depend on things outside our control.

14. Liability

If something goes wrong, our total responsibility is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We aren't responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profits, that come from a site being down or a mistake on it. Nothing here limits responsibility the law doesn't allow us to limit.

15. Your customers' data

Forms on your site send messages straight to your inbox. We don't keep or sell your customers' messages, and our forms never ask for card numbers, Social Security numbers or health details. We give your site a short, accurate privacy page.
